Alan J. Gambardella

Alan J. Gambardella, age 61 of New Haven, beloved husband of Karen E. Gambardella, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 14, 2014. Born in New Haven, the son of the late Alfonse and Jennie Gambardella he had been a lifelong city resident. A graduate of East Haven High School, Alan was a retired foreman for the New Haven Parks and Recreation Department following 20 years of service. Alan loved his job, the New York Yankees, but above all else, spending time with his family. Survivors in addition to his loving wife Karen include a beloved daughter Alison M. Tyliszczak and her husband Stephen of Stratford; a cherished grandson Nicholas Tyliszczak; two stepsons, Jason Durso of North Haven and Michael Durso, his wife Andrea and their son Michael Durso, III of Georgia. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
