Albert L Bodnar

Albert L. Bodnar "Big Al" 80, passed away April 4, 2014. Big Al was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, where he shared his life with his wife Thelma. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Julia Bodnar, as well as his younger sister Diane Bodnar. .He is survived by his wife Thelma, his daughters, Linda Urbano, Kathryn Bodnar, Susan Bodnar, Lisa Spear and Mary Beth Bedard. Also, he leaves behind his sister Barbara Hein. He was the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Al was a man of few words, but what was said came from the heart. His devotion and love to his family was endless, and the lessons he taught were priceless. He wants to be remembered sitting on his back deck, enjoying what nature had to offer. Al chose to have a Celebration of Life party last year to enjoy time with his family and friends instead of services. In lieu of flowers Al would like you to pay it forward and be kind.
