Alfred N. Barney

Alfred Barney, age 97, a lifetime Easton resident, devoted husband of Dorothy, passed peacefully Friday, June 17, 2016. He was his own man; a man of the earth, inventor, builder, farmer and a sweet man of unforgettable character. He was a friend to all. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 67 years, a daughter Joan Barney of Monroe and a son David Barney of Easton. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10 AM meeting DIRECTLY at Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock TNPK, Fairfield. Friends may greet the family Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 5 - 8 PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S Benson Rd., Fairfield.
