Alvaro Labrador Doce

Alvaro Labrador Doce, 93 of Fairfield CT passed away on July 14, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT. He passed peacefully in his sleep dreaming of his beloved wife Juanita who passed away in 2014. Born in 1923 in Spain he came to Bridgeport, CT in 1955 searching for a better life. He worked as a machine operator for many years before retiring as a janitor from Fairfield High School at the age of 75. He is survived by sons Alfonso Doce & Richard Doce, daughter-in-law Kathy Doce, grand- daughters Kaitlynn Doce & Sarah Doce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM meeting DIRECTLY at Holy Family Church with entombment to follow in MT. Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, July 18, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S Benson Rd., Fairfield.
