Anna Fratarcangeli

Anna Fratarcangeli, age 80, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late, Piero Fratarcangeli, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 26, 2014. Everyone knew that Anna was a first class chef and we will all miss her unbelievable meals that she could whip up in a moment. In her younger days she was a seamstress and knitted and croquette beautiful blankets. She loved flowers and plants and watching her novellas (Spanish Soap Operas). Anna loved to go on walks and was often seen walking once or twice a day throughout the neighborhood. She often stopped and chatted with just about anyone and gained many acquaintances and friends during her strolls. Anna also liked cats, and throughout her life fed and befriended quite a few strays. Survivors include daughters Marguerite, Rose and son-in-law Edmond Dion; grandchildren Daniel and Lisa Fratarcangeli and Garrett Ballard; brothers Domenic and Louie Maselli, sisters-in-laws Mickey Maselli and Palma Silvestri and many beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind several wonderful friends who gave her tremendous support and love throughout the years and in her time of need, especially Maria Vecchiarelli, Barbara Ambrose, Luis and Mariam Rodriquez and Raffaela Napoli. She is predeceased by a son Frank Fratarcangeli; brother; Ralph and dear friend Felicetta Melone. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 11:30 AM in St. Anns Church, Black Rock section of Bridgeport with interment to follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery.
