Arnold "Pete" Jones Jr.

Arnold "Pete" Jones Jr., age 87, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Marietta of 66 years, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 15, 2017. Pete was born and raised in Bridgeport and moved to Fairfield in 1959. He had worked at Underwood and then Pitney Bowes for 36 years before retiring. Pete enjoyed traveling, golfing, bowling and most of all spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Marietta, son Ken Jones and his wife Linda, son Brian Jones & Lyn McIntyre, grandchildren Eric, Diana, Erin & Dylan Jones, sisters, Patricia Rua & Arlene Reynolds. Pete was predeceased by his parents Arnold & Marion Jones and his Brother Edward Jones. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM meeting DIRECTLY at Holy Family Church, Fairfield with interment to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
