Barbara Jean (Holzhausen) Belarski

Barbara (“Bobbi”) Belarski, 92 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully at The Carolton Convalescent Center on Wednesday, November 16. Bobbi grew up in Westport, attended Staples High School, went on to become a Rockette, an Arthur Murray dancer, and later owned the Norwalk Dance Center for 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s-On-The-Green, served on the board of Music Theatre of Connecticut, was an avid gardener, and adored her numerous cats and dogs throughout her life. She is survived by her “adopted sons” Kevin Connors and Jim Schilling of Black Rock, cousins Maribeth Nadig of Trumbull and Dick and Louise Baker of Newtown. The date for a memorial service will be announced at a later date to be held at St. Paul’s-on-the-Green in Norwalk.
