Barbara Ann Nuss

Barbara Ann Nuss, of Clinton, formerly of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the CT Hospice in Branford, five days shy of her 61st birthday. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene Boback, she graduated from Andrew Warde High School and worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Norwalk Hospital and Chester Village among other medical facilities. Barbara was a dedicated caregiver who was admired by both her patients and co-workers. She loved animals of all kinds and had a special place in her heart for the family pets she had throughout the years. A loving and dedicated mother, Barbara will be missed by her two beloved children, William L. Nuss of Branford and Laura J. Nuss of Prescott, AZ; a devoted sister Linda Boback of Charlestown, RI; two brothers, David A. Boback of Fairfield and Paul J. Boback of Rhode Island. As well as three nephews and four nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road (RT 59), Fairfield. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. Because Barbra loved animals, friends may consider a donation in lieu of flowers to Tails of Courage, 39 Smith Street, Danbury, CT 06810 (www.tailsofcourage.org).
