Barbara Ann (Crisci) Regula

Barbara (Crisci) Regula, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend to many passed away peacefully Saturday, September 3, 2022 in Bridgeport Hospital Hospice Center.

Born Feb. 23, 1943 in West Pittston, Pa., Barbara moved to Fairfield, Conn. where she became a lifelong resident and an important member of the community. She left a large impact on her community while raising her three beloved sons, Walter, Matthew, and her late son Richard Regula.

Barbara was a strong woman of faith and dedicated her life to raising her boys and the “Tahmore posse.” She is survived by her beloved sons and their families, Walter Regula, his wife Amy and their three children, Adrienne, Sydney, and Maximus; and Matthew Regula and his wife Kathleen, and their three daughters Madison, Riley and Peyton Regula.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment will be held in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks a contribution in memory of “Barb” be made to the Richard T. Regula Scholarship Fund, Fairfield High School, and sent to 11 Old Farm Road, Fairfield, CT.
