Beryl Skeen passed into eternal rest on November 11, 2016 at the age of 85.
Beryl and her loving husband, Ted Skeen, of 60 years were married in March of 1956 in
London, England. Ted and Beryl came to America in 1957. They both worked for Kodak in
Rochester, NY until 1963 when they moved to Norwalk, CT. Beryl spent the last 9 years on the Woman's Board at Norwalk Hospital and ran the Treasure House on Isaac Street. She was so proud of the work she and all the women volunteers accomplished over the years. Various departments of Norwalk Hospital benefited from all the proceeds received from the Treasure House. Close friends and family may attend a memorial to celebrate Beryl's life and work at the Treasure House on 5 Isaac Street on December 4 from 12:00 till 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Treasure House. Donations and cards may be dropped off at the Treasure House during business hours. Beryl is survived by her husband, Edward; son and daughter, Edward and Barbara Skeen, daughter-in-law Jane Skeen and three grandsons Eddie Skeen, US Navy, Jesse Skeen, US Army and wife Valentina Skeen, and Randy Skeen of Norwalk.
