Beverly M. Still

Beverly M. Still, age 84, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Donald M. Still, Sr. passed away peacefully, Friday, December 14, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Bedford, MA, the daughter of the late Horace W. and Bessie Holden, she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 35 years. Mrs. Still was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield where she served on the Board of Deacons, and was a member of the Women's Association and the Sewing Group. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile. Beverly loved cooking and spending time with her family; especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased this past February by her beloved daughter, Jean K. Nash, she is survived by her loving son, Donald M. Still, Jr. of Fairfield; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Still of Shelton; son-in-law, Robert W. Nash of Fairfield; a sister, Janet Norwinski of Elkton, VA; a brother, Jim Holden of Murphy, TX; four devoted grandchildren, Kimberly Kelly and her husband Stephen of Killingworth, Karren Nash Fairfield, Kareen Collazo and her husband, Ramon of Shelton and Nicole Moss and her husband, John of Metairie, LA; four cherished great-grandchildren, Ashley, Bailey, Tyler and Natalia; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 2475 Easton Tpke, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. There will be no calling hours however, a reception celebrating Beverly's life will be held in the church hall following the burial.
