Bobbie E Russo

Bobbie E. Russo, age 75, of Fairfield, beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph C. Russo, passed away peacefully Friday, July 15, 2022.  Born in Mullins, SC, the daughter of the late Leroy and Angie Elliott, she had been a Fairfield resident since 1977.  While living in Spartanburg, SC, Bobbie worked at a day care center.  She worked as a real estate agent in Fairfield for many years and also helped manage her family’s rental properties.  She loved taking care of her beloved granddaughters and spending time with her family and friends.  Survivors in addition to her loving husband Joseph include two sons, Joseph Russo of Trumbull and Michael Russo and his wife Jill of Milford; two cherished granddaughters, Hailey and Courtney Russo; two sisters, Peggy Smith and her husband Ira of Pawleys Island, SC and Bonnie Hales of Wilmington, NC; two brothers, Billy Elliott and his wife Gail of Loris, SC and Larry Elliott of Garden City Beach, SC and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister Carolyn Smith.  Friends may greet the family Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.  On Wednesday the family will also receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.  Friends may consider a donation in Bobbie’s memory to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shriners  Children’s Hospital, 2900 N.
