Brett Francis Buckmir

Brett F. Buckmir, age 55, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in his home. Born in Bridgeport, the son of Stan Buckmir of Fairfield and the late Janet Crone, he had been a lifelong area resident. As Vice President of Fairfield Graphics, Brett was a successful supervisor, pressman and cameraman. He enjoyed boating, fishing and target shooting. Brett was an excellent cook and often cooked for his family and friends. He was a talented writer, especially poetry. Survivors in addition to his father, Stan include a beloved daughter, Dana M. Buckmir of Pompano Beach, FL; a brother, Brian Buckmir and his wife Mariana of Norwalk; a sister, Brenda Buckmir of Stratford; a niece and a nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumptions Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield.
