Carmene Carolan, born in Bridgeport, CT on November 18, 1936 a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Mildred and Paul Mastrione, as well as her mother-in-law, Mary Carolan. Carmene's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carmene is survived by her devoted husband, John J. Carolan Sr., and her cherished children: John J. Carolan Jr., Attorney, Cheryl Carolan (Rocco Pacelli), and Paul M. Carolan (Jill Carolan). Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Ashley Roach (Brian Roach), Morgan Carolan, Drew Carolan, Hilary Pacelli, John Pacelli, Remy Tejada (Eddie Tejada), and Logan Carolan. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Isla, Ivy, and Kora, who brought her endless joy.

Carmene is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Patrick J. Carolan and Betty Carolan, and her sister-in-law, Ilona Paxton. Her extended family and many friends will fondly remember her warmth and generosity.

A dedicated and respected real estate agent with Fairfield County Real Estate for over 40 years, Carmene was known for her professionalism, integrity, and deep community knowledge. She built lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Beyond her successful career, Carmene was a passionate sports fan, faithfully cheering on the New York Yankees and the UConn women's basketball team. She was a former member of Mill River Golf Club and an active member of the Gaelic American Club. She also created many wonderful memories at Fairfield Beach, a place she cherished dearly.

Carmene's life was defined by her devotion to family, her vibrant spirit, and her love for the communities she was part of. She will be remembered for her laughter, her resilience, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met.

Carmene's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory. Calling hours will be held at Spear Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church (545 Stratfield Rd). Interment will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
