Carol A. Kuhl

Carol A. Kuhl, age 79, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. Born in Stamford, the daughter of the late Wesley and Mae Kuhl Miller, she was raised in Stratford and had been a Fairfield resident for many years. Mrs. Kuhl was employed at the American Surgical Company. She was a member of Black Rock Congregational Church. Survivors include three children, Michael Turner and his wife Patricia of Cromwell, William Turner of Seattle, WA and Debbie Turner Mayer, Her Husband Michael of Jacksonville, FL; two foster children, Armando Cora and his wife Gloria Their daughter Casey of Shelton and Julia Cora of Oregon; a grandson, David Turner of Cromwell , granddaughter Danielle Marcinek of West Palm Beach, FL. a great-grandson, Hunter Turner. She was predeceased by a sister, Marjory Bradley. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield with the Rev. James Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
