Carolyn G. Johnson

Carolyn G. Johnson, 92, formerly of Shelton, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, at Stone Bridge Health Center. Carolyn was the beloved wife of the late Nils H. Johnson. She was born on December 25, 1931, to the late George and Ellen Knapp Troland. 

Carolyn worked at Bridgeport Hospital as a Purchasing Expeditor for over 35 years. Her free time was spent as a member of several area senior centers loved a good game of bingo. She was a member and Past Matron of Azalia Chapter No. 2, Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Pyremus Temple Number 82, Daughters of the Nile. 

Carolyn is survived by her son Robert Warner of Waterbury, and her dear friend Sandra Osten, as well as many additional friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her companion of 20 years Joseph Paul Fagan.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 2PM in the Chapel at Stone Bridge Health Center, 139 Toddy Hill Rd, Newtown CT 06470.
