Casey Augusto Reyes Yniguez, peacefully passed away on August 25, 2022 due to complications from cancer.

Casey is predeceased by his sister, Aleli “Lee” Yniguez Taylor and parents Zenaida “Neddie” Reyes Yniguez and Amador “Ding” Yniguez.

Casey is survived by his son Chase, Kim Bliss, sister Arlene (John) Frye, brothers Alex Yniguez, Amador (Mireya) Yniguez Jr., brother-in-law Jeff Taylor, nieces Alena Frye, Lindsay Taylor, Tatianna Yniguez, Erica Fishman, nephews Christopher Frye, Bradley Frye, Ryan Taylor, Zach Taylor, Tyler Yniguez, Stone Fishman, in-laws Paul Pante, Miriam Pante, Carrie (Dave) Fishman, longtime family friends, Maria and Rick Roberto Family and extended Yniguez family and friends who meant so much to him.

Casey was a loving family man, dedicated to his son, his career and living life to the fullest. He loved all sports, an avid athlete enjoying baseball and tennis, chess playing, white water rafting adventures. His interests included card playing, exploring foods and travel, music/karaoke. Casey was a member of the Sarasota Freemason and Shriners.

Casey earned a BS in Chemistry and MS in Plastics Engineering at the University of Lowell in MA. His first 10 years was in the foods industry with Unilever, Ragu Foods, Cadbury Schweppes, Food Machinery Corporation and Tropicana as a Sr Process design engineer. Next 20 years, a career change as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial. Last 6 years, in his area of studies as a Sales Account Manager with Huntsman Corporation.

In lieu of flowers, “Lee’s Heroes”, our family team raising funds for cancer research and patients, will co-honor and co-dedicate this year’s “Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk" to Casey and Lee, donations accepted until 10/31/22.

A Celebration of Life on October 22. 2022 at Sarasota Sahib Shrine Event Center, 12-2pm
