Catherine R. Klosky

Catherine R. “Cathy” Klosky, 77, of Fairfield passed away on December 3, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She is the beloved wife of 56 years to Edward “Joe” Klosky.  Catherine was born in Bridgeport on February 8, 1944 to the late Walter Baxter and Margaret Tomlinson Baxter.

Catherine graduated from Andrew Warde High School and attended the Butler Business school and became an accomplished saleswoman who had incomparable wit and charm. She was a past girl scout leader and helped cofound a junior drum corps and was the business manager of the CT Tornadoes Drum Corps. Catherine loved to entertain at her home and be surrounded by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband Joe, she is survived by her twin daughters, Mrs. Karen Paradis and Mrs. Katherine Ashelford, and their spouses Mr. David Paradis and Mr. John Ashelford. She is the devoted grandmother “Tu-Tu” to; David Paradis, Catherine Ashelford, and Trisha Paradis. Catherine is also survived by her sisters; Mary Edwards, and Deborah Ontko as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Margaret Baranosky.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 10am-12pm at Spear Miller Funeral Home on 39 South Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT. In addition, a celebration of life will be immediately following visitation and viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, Wall Street Plaza, 88 Pine Street, Suite 2400,New York, NY 10005.
