Cecy was born and raised in Minas Gerias, Brazil where traditional values were instilled deep inside of him. Integrity, honor, commitment, loyalty and duty were not mere words to him; they were the guiding principals that directed his life. In all of his relationships Cecy demonstrated in sweet subtle ways his expansive love. His slight physical frame housed a gentle soul that brought great joy to his family.
Before coming to the United Stated in 1988 Cecy worked as a pharmacist in Brazil. Although he took a lesser carrier path in America he continued to approach his work with his trademark professionalism; always respectful, never late and fully committed to excellent service. He took great pride in his work at Stonebridge and deeply cherished the close friendships that were formed there over the course of nearly twenty years.
What Cecy valued most was his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be remembered daily by his radiant smile captured in countless photographs and embedded forever in our hearts. His unconditional love, especially for his daughter Rafaella and son Michael, is his most important legacy. His ability to love deeply modeled the example of Jesus. He was more comfortable giving love than receiving it, perhaps because he knew that "it is more blessed to give than to receive." Because of this we have peace in our hearts knowing that he is resting in the loving embrace of his savior Jesus Christ.
