Cheryl A. Brown, age 53 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of William F. Brown, passed away peacefully Monday, November 12, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, Cheryl had been a lifelong city resident. Cheryl loved traveling and camping, especially heading to the upper woods of Maine. She delighted in time spent with her family and enjoyed the beach. She was a member of the Keep It Tight Van Club where she developed many friends over the years. Survivors in addition to her loving husband Bill include her beloved son, William F. Brown, Jr. of Bridgeport; her mother, Margaret Lonsdale of Bridgeport; two brothers, Harold and David Lonsdale; a sister, Darleen Manente; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Friends may greet the family Saturday, November 17th from 3-6 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers friends may consider a contribution in Cheryl's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association 161 N.
