Christina M. Oberhuber

Christina M. Oberhuber, age 39, of Waterbury, beloved wife of Christopher L. Oberhuber and loving mother of Christopher L. Oberhuber, Jr., passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Christina had been a Waterbury resident for the last 15 years. She graduated from St. Patrick's elementary school and Colby Cathedral High School. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper. Christina was very dedicated to animal rescue and was a devoted and caring neighbor. Survivors in addition to her husband include her loving parents, Wayne and Diane (Guman) Ott of Bridgeport; a brother, Gary Ott and his wife Sherry of Bridgeport; maternal grandparents, Robert and Marie Guman of Fairfield; paternal grandmother, Eleanor Ott of Trumbull and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Leo Ott, and her uncle Thomas Guman. A private service celebrating Christina's life will be held privately.
