Claire Liann Parker

Claire LiAnn Parker of Bridgeport passed away on May 17, 2017 after a brief illness. Claire (LiAnn) was born November 28, 1958 to R. Hugh and Ann Parker. Claire is survived by her mother, Ann Parker of Indianopolis, IN, her sister in law, Jennifer Parker and her loving nephew, Kenneth W. Parker, Jr. of Catonsville, MD. She was preceded in death by her father, R. Hugh Parker, her brother Kenneth W. Parker and her grandparents. She graduated from DePauw University with a BA in communications and received her MBA in finance from Sacred Heart University. She started her career with Champion International in Stamford, Ct from 1987 to 1998 working in various management positions, leaving as the Director of Human Resources. She then joined Callanen / Sequel International in Norwalk, CT, which is a division of Timex Group USA located in Middlebury CT in 1998. She currently held the position of Vice President of Human Resources. She was passionate about reading a good book, spending time by the water and caring for rescue animals. Claire impacted the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She will be deeply missed by her countless friends and family. A memorial service celebrating the life of Claire LiAnn Parker will be held at Spear - Miller Funeral Home at 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, CT on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 am.
