Claudette C. Delaurentis

Claudette C. DeLaurentis, age 75 of Vernon, beloved wife of the late William T. DeLaurentis, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 in her home. Born in Biddeford, ME, the daughter of the late Philipe and Berthe Cantara she was a graduate of Shelton High School and had been a resident of Vernon for over 40 years. She was an employee of Veritype in Bridgeport. Claudette enjoyed spending time at Old Orchard Beach and loved animals of all kind, especially dogs. Survivors include a sister, Jeanette M. Hart of Franklin, MA; a step son, Joseph E. DeLaurentis of Lugoff, SC; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Parrello and Nancy DeLaurentis of Fairfield; three step-grandchildren, Mikole DeLaurentis, Cheyenne DeLaurentis and Jada Sifuentes; nephews, Anthony and Thomas DeLaurentis of Fairfield, Mark DeLaurentis of Plano, TX and Louis Sulkazi of Fairfield; a niece, Kimberly Ellis and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers-in-law, Anthony J. DeLaurentis, Louis Sulkazi and Arnold Parrello, and a sister-in-law, Madeline Sulkazi. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
