Colleen Madeline Banten

Colleen M. Banten, age 61, a longtime Fairfield resident, beloved wife of Michael and mother of Nicholas and Christopher, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Colleen was a very active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Southport. She was an avid book reader. Most importantly was her love of her close friends and devotion as a wife and mother. In addition to her husband and two sons, she is survived by her mother, Madeline Moran, two brothers Kerry and Peter Moran and several very loving cousins. She is predeceased by her father John J. Moran. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Southport at 11:30 AM. Burial will be private.
