Deborah Ann (Grogan) Grogan

Deborah (Debbie) Grogan, age 61, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at her home in Waterbury.  Debbie was born in Rome, New York, and grew up in Trumbull, Connecticut.  A graduate of Trumbull High School and the National Academy of Hairdressing, Debbie spent many years traveling the United States as a military spouse before returning to Connecticut and settling in Waterbury.  Debbie was a compassionate and caring person who touched the lives of everyone she encountered.  She had a particular love of the many cats and dogs she shared her life with over the years.  Debbie was pre-deceased by her father, Joseph Grogan Sr. and is survived by:  her mother, Arlene Grogan; three children, Kristine and her husband Dan; Jessica and her fiancé, Guillermo; and Joseph and his wife, Blaire;  three siblings, Joseph (Michele) of Seymour, John (Elisia) of Fairfield, and Moira (Brian) of Newtown; 8 nieces and nephews, Joseph (Mary), Christopher (Marisa), Nathaniel, Caitlin (Corey), Mackenzie, Kayleigh, Ailish, and Finn; her Uncle, John; and her companion and friend of many years, Jim. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter.  At the request of the family, the funeral and burial will be private.
