Debra Bennet

Debra (Gall) Bennet, 57, passed away surrounded by family after a long time illness on January 25, 2015 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Bridgeport. Debra was the beloved daughter of Reta Gall and the late Joseph Gall of Fairfield. She leaves behind loving husband Robert Bennet; daughters Nicole Vetto and Cassie Bourgeois (David) grandson Dylan Bourgeois of Fairfield; step children Justin, Veronica and Fred Bennet of Fairfield; siblings Anthony Luther (Diane) of Shelton, Laura Szerszen (Gene) of Fairfield, and Joseph Gall Jr (Kathy) of Shelton and several nieces and nephews. Debra was born on June 29, 1957. She grew up in Fairfield attending Holy Family School and graduating from Andrew Warde High School. She especially enjoyed spending time with family, enjoying nature, caring for animals, and exploring her creative side through design and crafts. She will always be remembered by her sense of humor and free spirit. There are no calling hours. A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to local animal shelters.
