Diane Marie Kennedy

Diane Marie Kennedy, age 61 of Fairfield, formerly of Old Bethpage, NY passed away peacefully Thursday, April 23, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 5 years. Mrs. Kennedy was a devoted mother and grandmother and delighted in time spent with her family and especially loved caring for her cherished grandchildren. Survivors include her devoted husband, Christopher Kennedy of Fairfield; loving mother, Helen (Walczak) Smith of Bethpage, NY; two beloved children, Edward P. Ventunelli and his wife Dina of Levittown, NY and Debra Venech and her husband Justin of Fairfield; adoring grandchildren, Allyanna Ventunelli, Abigail, Madeline, Elizabeth and Andrew Venech; a brother, Robert Smith and a sister Wendy Schaal of Bethpage, NY. She was predeceased by her father, Edward Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call Friday (today) from 4-8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield.
