Dolores H. Anastas

Dolores "Dee" H. Anastas, age 94 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Saturday April 11, 2020 at Cambridge Manor. Born in Quincy, IL on October 2, 1925 to Jesse and Ada (Burgess) Humphrey. She married the late Lewis J. Anastas and they settled in Southport. Dee worked at Hall-Brooke Hospital as a business administrator. In addition to this, she became a member at the Southport Congregational Church and volunteered at the Carousel Thrift Shop and Pequot Library for many years. Dee is survived by her children, Dana Burgess Sage of Southport, Peter Jon Sage (Sue Riley) of Naples, FL, Douglas R. Sage (Marisa) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Amy Sage Gniadek (Stephen) of Fairfield; three grandchildren, Matthew T. Sage, Stephanie L. Sage Thurman, and Stephen Sage Gniadek. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
