Donna J. Biondi

Donna J. Biondi, age 75, of Stamford and Sun City, AZ , formerly of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born in New York City, the daughter of the late Willard M. and Jane R. Coughlin, she had been a Fairfield resident for many years. She was a graduate of the Academy of Mount St. Ursula in the Bronx, and St. Vincent's School of Nursing in New York. Early in her career, she worked at St. Vincent's Hospital in NYC, and later became a nursing supervisor at a senior care facility in Fairfield. Donna was a loving, and exceptionally selfless person who was devoted to her family. She was her children's biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed traveling with her family on adventurous and sometimes crazy family vacations. She was an avid book reader, enjoyed cross word puzzles, & games. She was a loving grandmother who showered her grandchildren with lots of love and always sent Hallmark cards and treats for every occasion. She often liked to surprise them with candy, lollipops, little toys or a trip for ice cream. Donna's stories about her life, growing up and raising her children were always entertaining. She could make you feel like you were part of whatever story she told.
She loved her family unconditionally and made everyone around her feel loved. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include four beloved children, David Biondi and his wife Katie, Peter Biondi and his wife Crissy, Brian Biondi and Terri Rohan and her husband Alex; a devoted brother, Jerry Coughlin, his wife Bernadette and their daughter and Donna's Goddaughter, Kelly; her loving cousin, Pat Bocker and nine cherished grandchildren, Trey, Lucia, Amanda, Gabriella, Jake, Samantha, Sara, Ryan and Charlie, and a loving great-granddaughter, Ava Grace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 26, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Theresa Church 5301 Main St Trumbull CT. Interment will be private. Friends may call Sunday, March 25th from 2-5 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
