Dorothy M. Nicsaji

Dorothy M. Nicsaji, age 87, of Southport, beloved wife of the late John J. Nicsaji, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mabel Booth, she was raised in Black Rock and had been a Fairfield/Southport resident for over 63 years. Dorothy's church family was at West Woods Bible Chapel where she had been a member for the last 37 years. She loved her Savior and singing hymns. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, quilting and reading, but above all else, spending time with her family. Survivors include her beloved son, Andrew D. Nicsaji of Southport; two loving granddaughters, Pamela Nicsaji of Bridgeport and Julia Nicsaji of Stratford; and nieces including Debra Booth Coenen of Stratford and Donna Booth Collins of Sebring, FL. In addition to her husband John, she was predeceased by two sons, Paul T. Nicsaji and John Mark Nicsaji; a sister, Louise Epley and a brother Thomas Booth. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private.
