Dot, or DD as she was known to her grandchildren, was born on May 5th, 1933, daughter of Dorothy (Odlin) Dunn and James Stannard Dunn. She spent much of her childhood living in Andover, New Hampshire, and was a graduate of Tenacre School and St Mary's in the Mountains/The White Mountain School. In 1996 she moved to Marlborough, NH and subsequently to Keene NH, where she lived until moving to Trumbull in 2018 to be closer to family. She taught in day care centers in Fayetteville and Weston, and was a volunteer at the Jonathan Daniels School in Keene. She enjoyed tennis, exercise classes, walking her dog and seeing the many friends she made in Marlborough and Keene.
Her last words of wisdom were "Do something daring".
Dot was predeceased by her parents and her beloved dog Willy. She is survived by her 3 children, Evan (Judy) Jones of Nashua, NH, Amy Jones and Todd (Cheryl) Jones, both of Fairfield, CT. She also leaves her sister Barbara (David) Roby of Lyme, NH, seven grandchildren (Abby, Nick, Tony and Grace Jones and Chris, Carly and Andrew Jones).
