Edith M. Faux

Edith M. Faux, age 92 of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Harry N. Faux, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 in her home. Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Drake, she had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. Mrs. Faux enjoyed Rug Hooking and was an avid antique collector. She and her husband would participate every weekend in the Elephant Trunk Flea Market in New Milford where they would sell their collected antiques. She was a member of the Southport Women's Club. The most important thing in her life was her family and spending time with them. Survivors include a beloved daughter, Nancy A. Harper and her fiancé Dan Reade of Westport; four cherished granddaughters, Tammy Donovan and her husband Tommy of Gloucester, MA, Kimberly Morelli and her fiancé Charles Hayes of Sandy Hook, Kelly Harper and her fiancé Matt Loomer of Dover, NH and Rebecca Guerrero and her husband Jordan of Norwalk; three adored great-grandsons, Cole, Harrison and Hudson; a former son-in-law, Mark Harper of Weston; her beloved Maltese, Abby, and a niece, Janice. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, with the Rev. Judith Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
