Edward F. Hoyt, 86, of Shelton passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 25, 2022. He was the devoted husband to Pauline (Hunt) Hoyt for 64 years after meeting at the Pleasure Beach Ballroom in 1952. In his retirement Ed enjoyed Golf, wood working-particularly building pieces of furniture for his family. He also enjoyed taking rides with Pauline to watch the water at St. Mary’s by the Sea. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his friends and family and making everyone laugh with his wonderful sense of humor.
