Edward Stanley Misorek Sr. (79) died peacefully at home on January 15th, 2023. He was born on October 17th, 1943, in Scranton PA to Edward Henry Misorek and Catherine Misorek. He was raised in PA until he was about ten years of age, then moved to Norwalk, CT. Edward graduated from Norwalk High School in 1961 and during his schooling, he apprenticed at Nor-Type as a typesetter. He married Barbara Evans in 1964 and they had two children together, Edward Jr, and Cheryl. While employed at Nor-Type, he also managed to work part-time at Grandview Grocery. He also worked at Kinko’s before they became FedEx and then continued with FedEx as a driver until he retired in 2007. Edward was an outdoorsman in his early years as he loved to fish and hunt with his father Edward Sr. He was a member of the Polish-American Club where he enjoyed playing poker and became an avid bowler. Edward was predeceased by his wife Barbara Misorek, his brother Lawrence Misorek, and parents Edward and Catherine Misorek. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Roman and husband Michael and their 2 children, Noah, and Mollie; his son Edward Jr. and wife Carmelina Misorek and their 3 children, Julia, Jessica, Nicolas, and great-grandchild Oliver; his brother Ronald Misorek and wife Joyce and their three children Megan (James Hackett), Brandy, and Dennis (Renee Misorek). Edward was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was never without a full cup of coffee and another pot brewing. He will be missed dearly.
