Eleanor A. Schede

Eleanor A. Schede, age 81, of Fairfield passed away peacefully Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late George and Mary Moran, she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 57 years. She was a graduate of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Parochial School and High School. Eleanor was a wonderful cook and delighted in time spent with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. Survivors include two children, Paula A. Lazarus of Fairfield and Richard C. Schede, Jr. of Milford; five grandchildren, Richard C. Schede, III, Alexis Lazarus, Dana Schede, Noelle and Matthew Lazarus; two sisters, Arlene Skovira of Fairfield and Frances Musante and her husband Charles of The Villages, FL. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Schede and a brother, Robert Moran. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Emery Church, 838 Kings Highway East, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. Friends may greet the family Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
