Elizabeth A. (Betty) Demeo

Elizabeth (Betty) DeMeo, age 95 of Stratford, formerly of Fairfield and Norwalk, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. DeMeo passed away peacefully, Tuesday May 6, 2014 at Atria of Stratford. Born in Norwalk, Ct. the daughter of the late Ludovico and Guiseppina Conte, she was raised in Norwalk and resided in Fairfield for over 20 years prior to moving to Stratford five years ago. She loved cooking, baking, gardening but above all delighted in the time spent with her family. Survivors include a beloved daughter Karen Pellicano and her husband James of Fairfield. Four grandchildren Kimberly (Pikor) Silva and husband Paul, Todd Pikor, Lynn Pellicano and Matthew Pellicano and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Joseph she was predeceased by her sister Lydia Lacerenza and brother Phillip Conte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:00AM meeting directly at St. Pius X Church 834 Brookside Drive Fairfield. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home 39 South Benson Rd. Fairfield, Ct. Entombment will follow in Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport. Betty loved flowers; however, in lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
