Elizabeth Mocsi, born 1934 in Hungary, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2014 after a valiant battle against a prolonged series of illnesses. Funeral services will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Road, Fairfield, CT on Friday July 18, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Louis, mother Erzsebet, father Ferenc, sister Irene, and brother Ferenc. Elizabeth received a doctorate of law degree from Eotvos Lorand University in Hungary, and following her move to the United States, had a long career as a bookkeeper for a local accounting firm. Her family and friends will forever cherish her deeply loving, generous spirit and celebrated Hungarian cooking and hospitality.
