Elizabeth M. (Pat) Shandrow

Elizabeth M. (Pat) Shandrow, age 96, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Albert Shandrow, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Ridgewood, NY the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Maher, she had been a Fairfield resident for over 50 years. Mrs. Shandrow was a retired office manger and supervisor for Tech Bearings, Inc. She was an active member of the Fairfield Elks Emblem Club for many years, and was a long-time parishioner at St. Pius X Church. She loved gardening around her home and also loved to read. Survivors include a sister, Frances Weimer of MT. Arlington, NJ; a niece, Linda Gorman; two great-nieces, Patricia Ann Gorman and Jennifer Lynn Gorman; a great-great nephew, Ryan and a great-great niece, Cady Lynn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
