Emelia B. Osowski, age 99, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late William Osowski, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Middlebrook Farms in Trumbull. Born and raised in Waterbury the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Bisiewicz, she had been a Fairfield resident for 48 years prior to moving to Trumbull. She was a graduate of Wilby High School in Waterbury and had worked for the Waterbury Clock Company prior to raising her family. Mrs. Osowski was a long-time parishioner of St. Pius X Church, and loved to play bridge, crocheting and baking for her family and friends. She was a member of the Fairfield Welcome Wagon. Emily delighted in time spent with her neighbors and friends and loved to entertain. Above all else she will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include three beloved children, Mark Osowski and his wife Patricia of Danbury, David Osowski and his wife Elaine of Austin, TX and Elaine Osowski of Norwalk; three cherished grandchildren, Heather, Stephen and Emily Osowski. In addition to her husband William and her parents she was predeceased by a brother, George Bisiewicz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Dr., Fairfield. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends may call Sunday from 3-6 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road., Fairfield.
