Emma M. Tomas

Emma M. Tomas, age 99, of Trumbull, formerly of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late John Tomas, Sr., passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center 3 months shy of her 100th birthday. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Philip and Ida (Porzenheime) Miller, she had been a Bridgeport resident for most of her life. She will be sadly missed by her son, Philip G. Tomas and his wife Tammie of Seymour; 11 grandchildren, Mark Francoeur, Nicholas Mazzadra, Shannon Tomas-Cabrera, Phillip Martinez, Brian Tomas, Shane Tomas, Sabrina Tomas, Emily Tomas, Colleen Tomas, Laura Tomas and Michael Tomas; 20 great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Tomas of Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, John Tomas, Jr. and Michael Tomas; a brother, Robert J. Miller and two sisters, Ethel Gomperts and Joan Suchara.
