Eng Ngo Taing

Eng Ngo Taing, age 52 of Milford, CT went home to be with the Lord on September 6th, 2019 after a three and a half month battle with ovarian cancer. She spent her final moments with her beloved husband, Bunseng Taing, marking their 33rd wedding anniversary together. Eng received a bachelor's degree at Southern Connecticut State University, while raising her two children, her pride and joy, son James and daughter Jenny Taing. She worked as a devoted homemaker and helped co-run with her husband a painting contracting business. Eng's favorite past times were moments spent with family, cooking for her loved ones. Her dishes were the first to go at family gatherings, particularly her signature savory egg rolls. She often researched healthy recipes, and enjoyed going to the supermarkets to inspire her culinary interests. Gentle, kind, demure, and a lover of flowers, she enjoyed taking pictures in gardens when traveling.

Born in Cambodia to Ye Ngo and Tea Chan, she was primarily raised by her grandmother, Lim Sok Hieng. Youngest of nine, she also leaves her brothers Houa, Tony, San, Henry, Steven, and Len and her sisters Hoa and Kien Ngo. A wake will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. The funeral service will be held the following day on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 2475 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825.
