Ethel L. Cresiski

Ethel L. Cresiski, age 89, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Cresiski, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Lord Chamberlain Health Center. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Grabiec, she had been a lifelong city resident. Ethel was a proud long-time volunteer at the Bridgeport Hospital Rehabilitation Center and was recognized by the hospital for a long and faithful service. She loved playing Bingo and traveling to the casinos. Survivors include two beloved sons, Raymond C. Cresiski, Jr. and his wife Diane of Milford and Michael C. Cresiski and his friend Joan Woodroof of New Canaan; three cherished granddaughters, Cheryl, Kimberly, Kristin and her husband Tomasz; a loving great-grandson, Chase; a sister, Agnes Sienkiewicz of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford.
