Frank Buda

Frank Buda, 56, passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent Medical Center on January 10, 2025. He was born on November 4, 1968 in Bridgeport, CT.

Frank was a Fairfield Town resident for most of his life. He grew up in Gould Manor neighborhood. In his youth he played little league at Gould Manor. He spoke fluent Hungarian and took trips to Hungary with his siblings during summer vacations to visit his grandparents.

Frank is survived by his father John Buda, Sr. and mother Lenke Toth, his sister Debbie, brother John Jr. and step-sister Lenke.

He was predeceased by his stepmother, Lenke Buda, and his niece Jennifer. Also fondly remembered is his good friend Bob Meeker that was always there for him through many of his life struggles.

Frank graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School and after high school he served in the United States Air Force. He then entered Western New England College and received his Bachelors degree. 

Frank worked during the summer breaks at the town of Fairfield Public Works and then full time for the West Haven and Newington VA Medical Centers for over 20 years.

Funeral services are private and be held at a later date.
