Gerald G Mulligan

Gerald G. Mulligan, age 63, of Easton, passed peacefully in his home with his family by his side on Sunday, October 19, 2014 after a long illness. A 31 year resident of Easton, he was an active member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Company, having served as both chief and president. His keen interest in the Civil War led him to participate in battle re-enactments with Regiment #14 of Connecticut. Gerry's hobbies included fishing, golf, softball and grilling for his family. At the time of his death, he was a Connecticut State Marshal. He is survived by his wife, Carol, of 39 years, his daughter Erin Cummings and her husband Jim of Fairfield, his daughter Tracy and her fiancé Jarrett Murgolo of Charlotte, NC , his sister and brother-in-law Ann and Ron Hallett, his sister and brother-in-law Kathy Mulligan and Hugo Johner, his brother and sister-in-law Brian and Laura Mulligan, cousin George Mulligan and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 22, 2014 meeting DIRECTLY at Notre Dame of Easton Church at 10:00 AM with interment to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
