H. Thomas Deluca

H. Thomas DeLuca age 69 of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Fairfield, CT, passed away suddenly on October 24, 2018. Tom was born April 2, 1949 in Bridgeport, CT. He was the son of the late Dr. Joseph and Eileen Flynn DeLuca. He is survived by his wife Carol Greer DeLuca of Phoenix, AZ, his step-daughter Abbie (Greg) Creevy of Phoenix, step granddaughter Erin (Gus) Hellerstedt of Arvada, Colorado, Kate Creevy, of Phoenix and step-great-granddaughter Aaliyah Creevy of Phoenix. Tom also leaves behind his sisters Carol (Jerry) Hemenway, Eileen (Bud) Mandanici, Christine(Rob) Murphy, brothers Joseph(Carol) DeLuca and David (Nancy)DeLuca and many nieces and nephews. Tom was a graduate of Andrew Warde H.S., Fairfield, CT. ,Western New England College, Springfield, MA. Tom received his Masters Degree from Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT. Tom retired from Avco Lycoming as a manager in the IT department. Tom volunteer many years and many hours for the Albin Center, The Taste of Fairfield and the American Red Cross. He loved playing volleyball and softball. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, CT.
