Harold R. Horn, Iii

Harold R. Horn, III, age 67, of Wilton, beloved husband of Cynthia E.
(Roy) Horn, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 10, 2017 with his
wife by his side. Harold was a U.S. Army veteran having served as an
honor guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during the Vietnam War.
Upon completion of his military service he enrolled in the University of
Nebraska where he graduated. Harold spent over 35 years as a jeweler,
including14 years as owner of Westport Jewelers in Westport, CT. He
was an avid football fan, enjoyed many outdoor sports activities,
sailing, cooking, games, and most importantly spending time with family
and friends. In addition to his wife over 26 years, he is survived by two sisters, Dr. Nancy Horn and her husband Dr. Rex Cadwallader of Milford, CT and Ann Wassenberg and her husband Lee of Lincoln, Nebraska, nieces and nephews, Mark, Adam, Dan, Emily, Elizabeth, Nick, Sarah, Andrew, Melissa, Doug, David, Michael and Michelle, and great nephews and niece, Quinn, Jameson, Luca and Katherine, as well as numerous cousins and other related family members. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Adele Horn Higgins and Dr. Harold R. Horn, Jr., M.D. and a sister, Cathy Ann Horn. An interment service with military honors will be held privately at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project P.O.
