Harriet K. Raisides

Harriet K. Raisides, age 82, of Wyomissing, PA, formerly of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Gus Raisides, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 6, 2018 in her home. Born in Reading, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Kontis, she had been a Fairfield resident for 35 years prior to moving back to Pennsylvania. Mrs. Raisides worked for Bell Telephone before raising her two loving daughters, Maryann and Vicki. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Bridgeport. Harriet was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who delighted in time spent with her family. She will be sadly missed by her two beloved daughters, Maryann Dolzani and her husband Brian of Fairfield and Vicki Raisides of Encinitas, CA; two cherished grandsons, Elliot and Spencer Dolzani; a loving sister, Anna Geras of Wyomissing, PA; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A Trisagion Service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
