Henry L. Begian

Henry L. Begian, age 90, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Dawn Begian, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 21, 2019 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Henry and Mary Begian, he had been a Fairfield resident for last 49 years. Henry was a beloved husband father and grandpa. He was an avid sailor who was equally at ease in the garden and building rock walls by hand. Always there with sage advice, always there to temper unsettled hearts and always there to lend a hand. He was quietly a great role model for his son and a supportive partner for his wife. Henry adored his grandson, and together, they found and nurtured a love of model trains. Survivors in addition to his loving wife, Dawn include his beloved son, Jamie Begian and his wife Marcy and his cherished grandson, Brayden Begian. He was predeceased by his sister, Mellina Jizmajian. A funeral service celebrating Henry's life will be held Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery Fairfield.
