He was an accomplished artist in many mediums and styles including reproductions in oil of 17th C. Flemish paintings. Besides his wife of 61 years, he leaves behind three daughters; Laura Kaehler (John Motay) of Riverside, Bonnie Kaehler of Fairfield and Carol Millerick (Michael) of Ridgefield. He was affectionately nicknamed "Poppi" by his two granddaughters, Charlotte Millerick of Charleston, SC and Claire Millerick of Ridgefield. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Heritage Foundation or Wounded Warriors. Herb's family will remember his quick wit and infectious laugh. He was extremely caring, selfless, industrious, creative, patient and humble. Herb was a man of all seasons; a true renaissance man. He will be greatly missed.
