On January 6th, 2024, Holly Ann Granville of Trumbull, CT peacefully went to be with the Lord in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 11,1930 she was the daughter of the late Burton Tilden Ketcham and Emily Holly Waterbury Ketcham. Holly grew up in Monroe and helped her mother serve in the Aircraft Warning Service during the war in 1944. Being in the Monroe Girls Club, she loved to play basketball and softball, where her love for the UCONN Girls Huskies Basketball team and NY Yankees took root. She graduated from Bassick High School in Bridgeport, CT in 1948. She went to Dean Junior College in Franklin, MA, where she was elected senior class president, was on the Dean’s List and received the Trustee prizes for excellence in Science and academic work. In 1951, she graduated with an Associate Degree in medical secretarial. She worked as a medical secretary for Doctor Murdock in Easton, CT and later with her family at Printers, Inc. in New Canaan and Norwalk. She loved serving the Lord and was very active at Black Rock Church in Fairfield for many years singing in the choir; serving on many committees; teaching Sunday School; and as a Girl Scout troop, Pioneer Girls and Community Group leader. She was an avid gardener creating beautiful flower gardens, growing abundant vegetables and planting raspberry patches wherever she lived. She loved to travel and has been to many parts of the world with friends, family and church groups including a tour of the Holy Land, Greece and Ephesus in 1994, and missions trips to Germany in 1998 and to Austria in 2001. Many people throughout her life were blessed by her kind heart, generous spirit, thoughtfulness and love.

She is survived by her children Susan (Jefre) Keeler of Trumbull, CT, Todd (Sue) Kriewald of Fairfield, CT, Grace (Kurt) Kressu of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Gail (Dean) Carley of Barrington, RI; her grandchildren Aaron (Dawn) Keeler, Amanda (Manny) Rivera, Kyle and Kevin Kriewald, Alexis (Greg) Caldarella, Alana and Andrew Kressu, Brynn Carley, Kalyn (Jay) De Boer, Kyrian Carley; great grandchildren Manny and Chase Rivera, Ainsley and Adelena Keeler and Morrison Kriewald; and also her brother John Ketcham of Exeter, NH. She was predeceased by her husbands, Bud Kriewald and William Granville and her brother Burton Ketcham, Jr.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Black Rock Church on April 20th, 2024 at 11AM. Contributions in Holly’s memory may be made to Black Rock Church Missions Fund , 3685 Black Rock Tpke., Fairfield, CT 06825.
